This insert enables you to achieve the eye-catching look of an Adamesh grille, but without replacing the surround.
Transform the appearance of your car economically with this striking Jaguar stainless steel mesh insert, designed to fit S type models after 2004 (from VIN number N13089) - grilles fitted with a round badge.
Made in exactly the same way as for the complete grille unit, you are assured the identical high quality electro-polished, hand-woven stainless steel mesh which will not rust or chip and maintains a highly-reflective, long-lasting finish.
The insert takes around 20 minutes to install. It requires modification to the existing grille, but full fitting instructions are provided.
Also available in a black plastic coated finish.
- Remove grille from car by loosening the 4 securing bolts – 2 at the end of each of the support arms, and a further 2 bolts located at approx 3o’clock and 9o’clock on the back of the grille
- Lay grille surround face downwards on a soft blanket to ensure no damage occurs
- Unclip the chrome surround from the back plate - inserting a flat headed screwdriver between the two will help
- Cut the grille bars using a jigsaw and sand any excess to give the frame a smooth finish
- With the chrome surround face down – place the mesh insert onto the chrome surround
- Place the black backing plate on top of the insert and clip back together
- Fit back onto your car using the original 4 fixing bolts
